Double Life — Retrospective

Galerie Le Sous-Sol presents the first complete monograph of modern artist Abderrahmane Rahoule, spanning the media and significant periods of his work. Some sixty pieces by the master, some previously unseen and selected by gallerist Jemiaa Kamal-Semlali, reveal the full richness of his path, from his studies at the Casablanca School of Fine Arts to his return as director of that institution of Moroccan modernism.

"Double Vie" brings together, for the first time, a coherent set of his pictorial and sculptural works side by side, in a show curated by Jemiaa Kamal-Semlali in collaboration with Kulture Art Média. The exhibition was held at Galerie Le Sous-Sol, Agadir, from March 10 to April 8, 2022.
