The Seasons

What if the seasons were the secret pulse of our inner world? Curated by Syham Weigant, Les Saisons invites a sensory journey through time carried by eight African artists with singular voices: Ghizlane Sahli, Rahma Lhoussig, Abdoulaye Konaté, Mohamed Said Chair, Mohamed Hamidi, Amina Azreg, Malika Agueznay and Malek Sordo.

Born from a collaboration between La Galerie 38 and Fondation BMCI, the exhibition highlights the vitality of the contemporary African art scene by weaving a link between transmission, nature and temporality. It was held at La Galerie 38, Casablanca, from May 17 to June 21, 2025.

Reinvent the seasons as so many states of mind and fragments of memory, and celebrate art's capacity to awaken consciousness in a world in search of meaning.
