The Art of Gesture

La Galerie 38 presents "Hafid: The Art of Gesture," an exhibition devoted to the works on paper of Mustapha Hafid, a key figure of Moroccan abstraction. Through a selection of gouaches, the exhibition highlights the power of gesture, free and instinctive, that structures space and brings color to life.

Trained between Casablanca and Warsaw, Hafid unfolds a singular pictorial language here, where movement, spontaneity and technical mastery converse with matter. The exhibition was held at La Galerie 38 Marrakech, as part of the second edition of WE ARTY, from May 1 to June 14, 2025.
